Krisanne Johnson has been photographing NYC weddings for the past 15 years. Her career as a documentary photographer inspires her to tell the story and capture the candid moments of your big day. She looks to capture the joy and intimate moments of your day with a kind and thoughtful approach.

She graduated with a degree in journalism from the University of Colorado and pursued postgraduate work in visual communications at Ohio University. Her documentary work has been recognized by World Press Photo and Pictures of the Year International. Her long term work in Africa documenting young women coming of age amid the HIV/AIDS epidemic has received a Getty Images Grant for Editorial Photography, the W. Eugene Smith Grant in Humanistic Photography and support from the Magnum Foundation Emergency Fund. Her editorial clients include The New Yorker, TIME, US News & World Report, The Wall Street Journal, The Fader, and The New York Times.
